Ibn
Umar reported that Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) forbade
(people) taking vows, and said: It does not (necessarily) bring good (in
the form of substantial, and tangible results), but it is the meant
whereby something is extracted from the miserly persons. [Muslim :: Book
14 : Hadith 4021]

Prophet Muhammad P.b.u.H said ,"The believer will cont inue to be
tested by afflictions until he ends up pure from sin. And the parable of
the hypocrite is that of a donkey, it does not know why its owners tied

Rasulullah
(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “How wonderful is the situation of
the believer, for all his affairs are good. If something good happens to
him, he gives thanks for it and that is good for him; if something bad
happens to him, he bears it with patience, and that is good for him.
This does not apply to anyone but the believer.” (Muslim)

Volume 9, Book 92, Number 381:
Narrated Hudhaifa:
Allah’s
Apostle said to us, “Honesty descended from the Heavens and settled in
the roots of the hearts of men (faithful believers), and then the Quran
was revealed and the people read the Quran, (and learnt it from it) and
also learnt it from the Sunna.” Both Quran and Sunna strengthened... their (the faithful believers’) honesty.

One
of the worst forms of theft or cheating is cheating in prayer. The
Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “The worst type of thief is
the one who steals from his prayer.” The people asked, “O Messenger of
Allah! How can a person steal from his prayer?” He said: “By not doing
rukoo’ and sujood (bowing and pr...ostrating properly).” [Ahmad, 5/310; Saheeh al-Jami’ no. 997]
