You must be careful with the selection of
friends, for your companionship can and must be a form of dhikr. The
Messenger of Allah said: 'The best friend is the one who makes you
remember Allah when you see him.' Also: 'Whosoever Allah wishes good
for, He will grant him a righteous friend who will remind him if he
forge...ts and aid him if he remembers'. And the
Qur'an says: Bind yourself with those who call upon Allah morning and
evening. [Surah al-Kahf 18: 27-28.]

Avoid the seven noxious things.(1) Associating
anything with God, (2) magic,(3) killing one whom God has declared
inviolate without a just cause, (4) devouring usury, (5) consuming the
property of an orphan, running back from the battlefield and, (7)
slandering chaste women who are believers but indiscreet.
(Bukhari,
Mu...slim).

Ghazi Ahmad).

His Apostle of, and he who enters
without invitation enters as a thief

The Prophet (may peace be upon him) was the most
forgiving person. He was ever ready to forgive his enemies. When he
went to Ta’if to preach the message of Allah, its people mistreated him,
abused him and hit him with stones. He left the city humiliated and
wounded. When he took shelter under a tree, the angel of Allah...
visited him and told him that Allah sent him to destroy the people of
Ta’if because of their sin of maltreating their Prophet. Muhammad (may
peace be upon him) prayed to Allah to save the people of Ta’if, because
what they did was out of their ignorance. The Doors of Repentance

The Prophet(Sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said:
“Whosoever regularly seeks Allah’s pardon, Allah makes for him a way out
of all tight corners, removes all his worries and grants him sustenance
from sources he had never imagined(Abu Daud, Kitab-al-Satat.

The Messenger of Allah (Blessings and Peace be
upon him) said: "Worry, anxiety, pain, fatigue, sickness or even a thorn
that pricks him - when a believer is afflicted with any of these, Allah
grants him pardon for some of his sins, (through or because of those
afflictions)." This reward is for the one who is patient, w...ho
seeks his reward with Allah, who repents to Him, and who knows that all
his dealings are solely with Allah"

If you guarantee me
six
things on your part, I shall guarantee you paradise: speak the
truth
when you
talk, keep a promise when you make it, when you
are trusted with
something
......fulfil your trust, avoid sexual
immorality, lower your eyes and restrain
your
hand from injustice.
(Baihaqi).

The messenger of allah (pbuh) said; verily the
creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother's belly
for forty days in the form of a seed, then he is a cloth of blood for a
like period, then a morsel of flesh for a like period, then there is
sent to him an angel who blows the breath of life into him and... who
is commanded about four matters: to write down his means of livelihood,
his life span, his actions and whether happy or unhappy. By Allah,
other than whom there is no god, verily one of you behaves like the
people of paradise until there is but an arm's length between him and
it, and that which has been written over takes him and so he behaves
like the people of hell-fire and thus he enters it; and one of you
behaves like the people of hell-fire until there is but an arm's length
between him and it, and that which has been written over takes him and
so he behaves like the people of paradise and thus he enters it.

3. O mankind! Remember the Grace of Allah upon
you! Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the
sky (rain) and the earth? La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be
worshipped but He). How then are you turning away (from Him)?

4.
And if they belie you (O Muhammad ), so were Messengers belied be...fore
you. And to Allah return all matters (for decision).

5. O
mankind! Verily, the Promise of Allah is true. So let not this present
life deceive you, and let not the chief deceiver (Satan) deceive you
about Allah.

6. Surely, Shaitan (Satan) is an enemy to you, so
take (treat) him as an enemy. He only invites his Hizb (followers) that
they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire.

7. Those who
disbelieve, theirs will be a severe torment; and those who believe (in
the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds,
theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise). .....(
Surah/ Chapter Fatir )......

Beautiful
Hadith! Narrated Sahl bin Sad Al-Saidi (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's
Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A place in Paradise equal
to the size of a lash is better than the whole world and whatever is in
it."[Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 473]

The Prophet (s) once gave counsel to Abu Dharr
(r) , saying: “O Abu Dharr! Beware of backbiting, for backbiting is
graver than adultery (zina’).” Abu Dharr (r) said: “Why is that so, O
Messenger of Allah?” He (s) replied: “That is because when a man commits
adultery and then repents to God, God accepts his repentance. ...However,
backbiting is not forgiven until forgiven by its victim.” [Al-Hurr
al-`Amili, Wasai'l al-Shi`ah, vol. 8, hadith no. 18312]

Narrated Humran:
(the freed slave of 'Uthman
bin 'Affan) I saw 'Uthman bin 'Affan asking (for a tumbler of water) to
perform ablution (and when it was brought) he poured water from it over
his hands and washed them thrice and then put his right hand in the
water container and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putt...ing
water in it and then blowing it out. Then he washed his face thrice and
(then) forearms up to the elbows thrice, then passed his wet hands over
his head and then washed each foot thrice. After that 'Uthman said, "I
saw the Prophet performing ablution like this of mine, and he said, 'If
anyone performs ablution like that of mine and offers a two-rak'at
prayer during which he does not think of anything else (not related to
the present prayer) then his past sins will be forgiven.' [Volume 1,
Book 4, Number 165]
