The Prophet said, "Verily! 70,000 or
700,000 of my followers will enter Paradise altogether; so that
the first and the last amongst them will enter at the same time,
and their faces will be glittering like the bright full moon."

On that day, men shall turn up in sundry
groups(5) to be shown their deeds.(6) Then, whoever has done an atom's
weight of good, shall see it; and whoever has done an atom's weight of
evil, shall see it.(7) - (Sura Al Zalzala ayah 5-7)

The superiority of the remembrance of Allah was
explained by Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam), who said:
'The example of the one who remembers his Lord, in comparison to the one
who does not remember his Lord, is that of a living creature compared
to a dead.' [Saheeh al-Bukharee]

Narrated Sahl bin Sad Al-Saidi (Radi-Allahu

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A
place in Paradise
equal to the size of a lash is better than the
whole world and whatever is
in it."

The Prophet
said, "Paradise has
eight
gates, and one of them is called Ar-Raiyan through
which none will enter
but those who observe fasting." The
Prophet
also said, "If a person spends
...
two different kinds of something (for Allah's cause), he will be
called from
the gates of Paradise."

Avoid envy, for envy
devours good deeds just
as fire devours fuel.

I
have surrendered myself to You, I have directed my face to You, I have
entrusted my affairs to You, I have compelled my back to refuge in You,
in want and in fright of You, there is no resort nor survival from You
except (in turning) to You. I have faith in Your book (i.e. the Qur'an)
which You brought down and in th...e Prophet (Muhammad) you have sent." (Al-Bukhari, Muslim)

The Prophet ( SAW )said, "Surely you will follow the ways, of those
nations who were before you, span by span and cubit by cubit (i.e. inch
by inch) so much so that even if they entered a hole of a lizard, you
too would follow them," We said, "O Allah's Messenger! Do you mean the
Jews and the Christians?" He replied,... "Whom else?" (Bukhari)

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr: Once the Prophet remained behind
us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing
ablution for the prayer which was over−due. We were just
passing wet hands over our feet (and not washing them
properly) so the Prophet addressed us in a loud voice and said
...twice or thrice: "Save your heels from the fire."--[Sahih Bukhari]

In
Surat al-Muzzammil (73), the verse: "Keep vigil at night but a little, a
half thereof" (2-3) has been abrogated by the following verse: "He
knoweth that ye count it not, and turneth unto you in mercy. Recite then
of the Qur'an that which is easy for you" (v.20). The phrase "the vigil
of the night" (nashi'at al-layl)... means the early hours of the night. They (the companions) would pray (the tahajjud prayer) in the early hours of the night.
He
(Ibn Abbas) says: It is advisable to offer the prayer at night
(tahajjud), prescribed by Allah for you (in the early hours of the
night). This is because when a person sleeps, he does not know when he
will awake. The words "speech more certain" (aqwamu qilan) means that
this time is more suitable for the understanding of the Qur'an. He says:
The verse: "Lo, thou hast by day a chain of business" (v.7) means
engagement for long periods (in the day's work). Book 5, Number 1299:
Narrated Abdullah Ibn Abbas:

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "There is a tree in
Paradise

one hundred years, he would not be able to cross it."
