It
is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have
decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision. And
whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed strayed into a

Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam. Allah [Subhanahu wa
Ta'ala] has prescribed fasting for us in order that we become pious as
told to us in the Qur'an: "O you who believe! Observing As-Saum (the
fasting) is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before
you, that you may become Al-Muttaqűn (the pious)." [The Qur'an 2:183]

O men! Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this

who deny Allah and His Messengers, and (those who) wish to separate
Allah and His Messengers, saying: "We believe in some but reject
